Managing Operations

In this section you can manage workspace operations: create, edit and delete operations.

Important

The "Operations" section name may differ depending on your workspace settings. You can choose a suitable name from the list of available options.

To change the name:

  1. Click on the user menu in the top navigation bar.
  2. Select WorkspacesManagement.
  3. In the "Workspaces" table, find the desired workspace.
  4. Click on the three vertical dots to the right of it.
  5. Select Edit.
  6. In the Operation name list, select the desired name.

Available names:

Operations, Work, Tasks, Procedures, Activities, Services, Actions, Events, Functions, Processes, Maintenance, Repairs, Diagnostics, Cleaning, Lessons, Examinations, Sterilization, Calibration, Configuration, Inspections

1. Navigating to the Section

To navigate to operation management:

  • In the top navigation bar, select the Components menu item.
  • In the menu that appears, click on the Operations item.

2. Adding a New Operation

To add a new operation to the workspace:

  • At the top of the content, click the Add button.
  • In the window that appears, fill in the fields.

Form fields:

  • Identifier (optional) — a unique operation code for quick identification. For example: work type code (REP-01), internal service code, or abbreviated procedure designation.
  • Name (required) — the full descriptive name of the operation. For example: "Equipment Maintenance", "Electrical Equipment Repair", "Teaching Math Class", "System Diagnostics". Use clear names that will help when creating reports.

After filling in the fields, click the Add button.

Tip
Operations help when creating reports — you can select them from the list or enter the name manually. Create operations for frequently recurring types of work.

3. Editing an Operation

To change the data of an existing operation:

  • In the table, find the operation you want to edit.
  • Click on the three vertical dots to the right of it.
  • In the menu that appears, select Edit.
  • In the window that opens, make the necessary changes to the Identifier and Name fields.
  • After making changes, click the Save button.
Tip
Changing an operation does not affect existing reports that used it. The updated name will only be available for new entries.

4. Deleting an Operation

To delete an operation from the workspace:

  • In the table, find the operation you want to delete.
  • Click on the three vertical dots to the right of it.
  • In the menu that appears, select Delete.
  • In the confirmation window, click the Delete button.
Important

Deleting an operation is an irreversible action. Make sure you have selected the correct operation before confirming deletion.

Operations are not hard-linked to reports — they are used as a reference for convenience when creating entries. When deleting an operation, existing reports with this operation will remain unchanged.
